PyTioga

Publication Quality Figures with Python, PDF, & TeX

[ home | demo | installation | documentation | communication | sourceforge ]

PyTioga is a Python package for creating publication-quality 2D figures and plots using the powerful combination of Python, PDF, and TeX. It is based on the open-source project Tioga, originally designed and developed for Ruby by Bill Paxton, one of the creators of Adobe PostScript technology.

Currently, PyTioga is still at an alpha stage of development. Almost all the features available in the original Tioga for Ruby have been implemented but have not been throughly tested. Contributions from early adopters are much welcome, yet please use the program at your own risk; we encourage you to file bug reports if necessary.
